We have an incredible staff team who are committed to sharing the gospel faithfully, even at great cost.
Dave Clancey has been Vicar at the Parish of South Christchurch since 2012, prior to which he led the Anglican church in Methven for four years. As Dave transitions from the Parish of South Christchurch to Trinity South Christchurch, he will continue preaching the Word and uphold his role of Vicar. Dave is married to Amanda and they have three sons – Liam, Theodore, and Caleb. Dave is chair of the Latimer Fellowship and along with others is involved in helping establish the new expression of Anglicanism of which we will be a part.
Alongside Dave we have an Assistant Minister, Chris Spark. Chris has been serving in the Parish of South Christchurch since 2014. His primary responsibilities have been in leadership of the St Nicholas’ Congregation. Chris will continue ministering in Trinity South Christchurch, moving to a part-time position due to the new church now having one location and one service. Chris is married to Sarah and they are blessed with three children: Esther, Lucy and Jayden.
David Thompson joined the church as an Assistant Minister in 2012, taking responsibility for parish management and youth ministry, as well as overseeing our small group ministry and occasionally preaching. David will continue in this role going forward. He is married to Maria, with two wonderful boys, Ezra and Micah.
